Letting the good in

It’s been about a week of social distancing. If you look back, can you name three things that have been nice?

Maybe the time you get to spend with your kids? Maybe the skype or zoom calls with colleagues? Maybe the time you had to read a book?

And three things that have been hard. Maybe the time spent indoors? Or worrying thoughts or feelings? Or something else.

Make a list of them and see what you can do to give more space for the good things (see today’s meditation on how to do that) and if there is anything to manage the difficult.

For the things that are difficult one of the most powerful things you can do is acknowledge that they are hard and just letting it be. In the ability to be with the difficult things you are showing enormous courage and strength.
