Kindness to self is not self-indulgence
Yesterday's live meditation focussed on one of the pillars of MindStrength - the power of kindness. Being in lockdown and having to deal with the different reality we now face can be a time where we indulge in certain unhealthy behaviours. For example we seek solace in food, or drink or Netflix. A little of that is fine, of course, but when does self-care become self-indulgence?
There are two meditations in the below video. A grounding, spacious awareness meditation in the beginning, and a kindness-to-self meditation which starts at around 20 minutes.
