Be like a mountain
We can use the image of a mountain to find strength and stability in ourselves. Often when we feel anxious we get lost in those thoughts and body sensations. When we learn that we can stand strong and be ok in the midst of anxiety, stress and overwhelm we teach our body and mind that there is another way to respond. This in turn weakens our anxiety reaction.
